| Many gentle folk joined the “Lord and Lady” on December 1, 2006 in the Buckeye Elementary school Theatre/Gymasium Complex for an enchanting dining experience full of traditional entertainment and feasting, served "medieval style"- without silverware but with plenty of napkins! The "Lord" encourages proper dress (1200's to early 1400's) but does not require it. |

As you arrive, you will be greeted by the sounds of medieval musicians strolling the lobby. Whilst feasting, guests will be regaled with costumed entertainers performing music, dance, singing, drama and more magical surprises! A wonderful and festive time was had by all! |

Order of the Feaste: With clockwork precision, legions of wenches and serfs will deliver three courses to hungry guests. The meal begins with a Sumptuous Butternut Squash Soup ladled into ceramic crocks; then comes your choice of Savory Pork Shank with a wine reduction sauce or a vegetarian dish of Hearty Quiche with mushrooms and a blend of fine cheeses; all accompanied by delectable, seasoned Potato Wedges, Candied Carrots and an Herb-Crusted Bread. And finally, a delightful Berry Tart for dessert. And, for our youngest guests, we will have Castle Chicken (chicken tenders) along with all the sides for an adult dinner. All meals include a drink of fresh Wassail or water. The meal will be hand-prepared by the Castle Chefs-Old Schoolhouse Catering! |
|
| There will be scenery available for photo opportunities and a few medieval townsfolk and occupants of the castle. The evening officially commences after the grand procession of the Boar’s Head! Serving wenches and serfs will deliver the hearty meal while the guests are entertained by the special medieval musical guest ensemble-Ganassi. |
